The general response from the exhibitors has been that the Clean India Show at Hyderabad has superseded the previous shows.
Clean India Journal spoke to exhibitors to capture the proceedings of the Show, impact on the business, demand of products and the kind of visitors that sourced cleaning products. While the Show has been a great success for exhibitors, the venue and place too worked in conducive of the exhibitors. Maximum exhibitors confirmed that there were very good representations from almost all major segments at the show.
One of the common trends that is experienced with all the Clean India shows is the expansion of cleaning business. Most of the exhibitors following the shows, especially in tier-II cities have successfully set up distributor network or opened regional offices to meet the local demand.
In terms of products itself, customers demand for low priced products with a longer warranty period. Quality and cost are the two market drivers even today. Clean India will be putting in efforts to bring in a section of spare parts at the next show.
While most of them in the cleaning industry address the Clean India shows being organized in tier-II cities as regional shows, the Hyderabad show has negated this view once again. Exhibitors were once again surprised to meet with industrial visitors and distributors from North India also. The potential of the cleaning market is big and Clean India Show creates the awareness drawing visitors to the show.
The presence of facility management companies, the main buyers of cleaning products, was much more pronounced at Hyderabad. Some of the big players present at the show were JLL, Knight Frank, CBRE, ISS, A2Z, G4S, OCS, Sodexo, Updater today. Clean India will be putting in efforts to bring in a section of spare parts at the next show.

The Clean India Show is a community and a gateway for each trader in this business. It enables us to meet and interact with other B2B manufacturers, traders in the industry and FM companies.’[/box]
It is generally voiced that the Swachh Bharat movement has increased the awareness levels of professional cleaning. Having visitors, distributors and channel partners from tier-II cities was a positive factor for the exhibition.

‘Clean India Show at Hyderabad was a vehicle to enter the South Indian market. Cleaning is a growing industry and customers need to be groomed slowly to the available technologies and growth in the market. The propagation happens only through Clean India shows. This show is the right platform to differentiate product variety that is reciprocal of market demands.’
