Santosh Bhoir,
Ex-Sarpanch of Tamnath-Sirji

“I would like to thank our corporate supporter Sealed Air India, all the hotel partners and my staf f in India who have made this possible. It is really a beautiful journey so far. Sundara means beautiful and you know, small steps, as small as collecting a discarded soap from hotels and making a dif ference to the lives of children in the tribal area and slums is so heart-warming that it literally conveys the idea of the foundation. Getting acknowledged by Clean India is a cherry on the cake. I am very-very grateful to be honoured. Thank you Clean India Awards! It is a wonderful platform and will motivate us to work even harder.”

– Kenieth D’souza

“Hugely inspired by my father, I have given my 25 years to this village, Tamnath, in helping each and every house to have a toilet, to have a good school, gym and other basic amenities. Today, everyone in the village is aware of the importance of cleanliness. This makes me proud. Today is a great day of my life having received the Clean India Award. Getting Tamnath recognised by professionals is special!”
