Amit Mittal receives Ernst & Young award

In a remarkable achievement made by a first generation entrepreneur, Amit Mittal, CMD A2Z Group bagged the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the year 2009 in the startup category. Mittal transformed the group from a modest Facility Management company to a diversified business conglomerate in a short span of seven years since its inception. It has three major business verticals – power transmission and distribution, waste management and cogeneration of power and the facilities management business.

This business award with global dimensions is underscored by a rigorous selection process comprising financial and qualitative analysis of all nominees and independently conducted field interviews. The final selection is done by an independent panel of judges.
