AP plans Health Care City in Guntur

Government of Andhra Pradesh is planning to build ‘Health Care City’, a 1,000 beds mega hospital in Guntur district with an estimated cost of `10 billion. The State government has tied up with IUIH (Indo- UK Institute of Health) to establish the new facility. The upcoming campus spread over 100 acres would house affiliated medical college, medical-related departments, research and training institutions. The foundation stone for the project will be laid in July 2016. The construction of the hospital will be completed in 36 months.
