Bangalore Airport seeks cleaning solutions

“We came across several cleaning contractors and cleaning equipment suppliers in Clean India Journal which has helped us in identifying some of the cleaning solutions for the airport,” said Vinayaka G, Assistant Manager – Procurements & Contracts, Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL). The Airport is looking for various solutions right from washroom maintenance to waste disposal to façade cleaning of office buildings & terminals within the airport premises.

In the coming weeks, BIAL will be floating tenders for professional cleaning at the airport. It is already in the process of awarding cleaning contract to a service provider for maintenance within the airport building areas. Besides the purchase of cleaning equipment, the airport will also be looking at replacing mats & carpets and various accessories & parts for equipment like road sweepers, etc.
