BCC floats tender to establish e-toilets

Belagavi City Corporation has floated tenders to establish coin operated e-toilets. The seven smart toilets will cost around 50 lakhs. These GPRS enabled toilet unit will consist of 225 litre water tank, manual exit, ‘Busy’ and ‘Ready to use’ alert system, power back up, coin based access along with automatic pre-flush, closet washing, and platform cleaning system. The maintenance will be managed by the supplier.
