To tackle the adverse effects of improper disposal of infectious waste generated from healthcare units, the Odisha government has decided to launch a project for scientific and hi-tech disposal of bio medical waste. The project is assisted by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation and Global Environmental Facility.
