Bunzl completes three acquisitions

Bunzl plc, an international distribution and outsourcing Group, recently announced the completion of thrî acquisitions. The Company has acquired the businesses of Cemelim in Barcelona, Spain and ICB Cleaning Supplies in Auckland, New Zealand which are both distributors of cleaning and hygiene supplies. The aggregate annualised revenue of both businesses is approximately £5 million.

The Company has also acquired Casa do Epi Ltd in Brazil. Casa do Epi provides a wide range of personal protection equipment to end user customers in the mining, construction and manufacturing sectors. Michael Roney, Chief Executive of Bunzl, said, “The purchase of Casa do Epi is an important acquisition for our safety business in Brazil. Cemelim and ICB will add further scale to our cleaning and hygiene supplies businesses in Spain and New Zealand respectively.”
