China Clean Expo 2013

The China Clean Expo (CCE), launched in 2002, the professional cleaning exhibition in China and one of the biggest of its kind in Asia, showcases the latest products and most innovative technologies in the industry. In addition to the participation of the world’s premium brands, the CCE also features a series of on-site activities including the CCE Awards, conferences and demonstrations, while gathering together the elite from the international cleaning community and forging the perfect platform to help facilitate world class trading, networking and educational opportunities in one of the world’s most booming cleaning industry markets. The next China Clean Expo will be held from April 1 to 3, 2013 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition &Convention Center.

Despite the economic downturn’s effects on the global economy, China’s cleaning supply industry expanded rapidly over the past year. The total revenue of large enterprises in the personal cleaning industry reached $23 billion last year, up 26.53% year-on-year. The industrial and public facilities cleaning industry also saw its revenue grow by 25 % in 2011 compared with the previous year. “As the global economy enters recession, businesses are looking for new strategies that will enable future growth and development,” says Andrew Large, the Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA) Chief Executive. China’s cleaning industry provides great market potential to foreign companies worldwide.

A significant amount of infrastructure, commercial blocks/skyscrapers and industrial facilities/plants have been built in China in the past few years, and there is more to come due to the government’s decision to accelerate the development of second tier cities. Understanding the opportunities offered by these growing urban areas is the key to forming sustainable strategy for all businesses within the cleaning industry.
