Despite the economic downturn’s effects on the global economy, China’s cleaning supply industry expanded rapidly over the past year. The total revenue of large enterprises in the personal cleaning industry reached $23 billion last year, up 26.53% year-on-year. The industrial and public facilities cleaning industry also saw its revenue grow by 25 % in 2011 compared with the previous year. “As the global economy enters recession, businesses are looking for new strategies that will enable future growth and development,” says Andrew Large, the Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA) Chief Executive. China’s cleaning industry provides great market potential to foreign companies worldwide.
