The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has launched the ‘Clean Bhopal,’ an awareness programme to keep the city clean through street plays, radio announcements and rallies.
Through this initiative, the people of Bhopal are being sensitized on the need of keeping the ecology pollution free by not dumping solid and liquid waste in the open places. They are also being taught on how to segregate the waste at source.
Special squads have been formed to spread this awareness campaign and impress upon the people to put their garbage only in the bins kept at the corner of streets by the BMC. This squad is also to carrying out inspection of the wards on regular basis
