‘Clean’ date over a coffee

Coffee shops are common dating spots for youngsters but students of Dunman High School in Singapore are spending time there cleaning washrooms. Students of the School’s Environment Club have adopted their local coffee shop washrooms as part of a project initiated by the Public Hygiene Council to promote hygiene in public washrooms.

In the past few months, students have also created posters and tissue paper packet designs for the purpose of raising awareness among patrons to leave washrooms as clean as they found them. Most of the owners of the coffee shops have agreed that the washroom users are now being more considerate.
