Unveiled by Clean India Journal, Clean India Awards brought forth the importance of innovations and effectiveness in cleaning practices, recognized the contributions made by housekeeping staff, organizations and civic bodies in the service sector.

Awards were categorized as technical, civic and housekeeping. In the housekeeping category, awards were presented to the Best Room Attendant and Best Janitor adjudged by the Jury. Technical awards were presented for the best cleaning equipment, cleaning tools, cleaning chemicals, hygiene solutions and the best product launch. The awards also encompassed recognitions for work done in civic establishments like Best Maintained Civic Hospital, Best Maintained Community Toilet Block and also a Well Maintained Institute.
At the Award ceremony night, the Industry stalwarts who have immensely contributed in shaping the Indian cleaning industry and in making of what it is today were facilitated. T. Balakrishnan – VP, Institutional and Laundry Business Unit, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Turkey -Sealed Air Corporation wrote in his message, “It is great to see the progress, the Indian Cleaning and Sanitation sector has made over the past 10 years.
