More than 5000 business visitors from across India and other countries, including China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, Middle East, Switzerland, the UK and the USA acknowledged the unique products and services showcased by both indigenous and international manufacturers at the Show. Not only did Clean India Pulire attract visitors from newer segments but also set records of 42 new exhibitors, new product categories, new pavilions and above all 65 new product launches during the Show.

The post-event report confirmed that the quantum of business generated exceeded expectations. Over 95% of the exhibitors stated that the Show created an excellent business and networking platform and that they could meet their objectives. The exhibitors rated the quality of visitors as good to very high.

The important feature has been the extra effort put in by the organising team to connect solution seekers and solution providers in one-to-one business meetings, facilitating better understanding and completion of business processes. A record number of over 250 meetings were held during the Show. Each visitor with particular requirement of cleaning solutions could meet multiple solution providers in a very short span of time.

The exhibitors concluded top transactions within the first two days of the Show itself, with day two registering maximum number of visitors on a single day.

Hon’ Minister of Rural Development, Maharashtra, Jayant Patil inaugurated the show and visited the stalls showcasing the latest cleaning equipment, chemicals, waste management and recycling and others.

Speaking to Clean India Journal, Jayant Patil said: “I am delighted being here. This Show is unique! Here the entire focus is on cleanliness & hygiene, recycling waste and thus improving the eco-friendliness quotient. Even though I have been living in Mumbai for a long time, this is the first time I am visiting a show of this kind which addresses the country’s most important need – cleanliness.

“I am glad to see that exhibitors not only from India but also from different parts of the world have participated in the Show. Everyone is focussed towards cleaning floors, minimising pollution, waste recycling – benefitting our environment – which is commendable.

“While visiting the stalls, I did find some equipment which could be deployed in the villages of rural Maharashtra. Three years back we launched the eco-village scheme, under which there is provision for 100% sanitation, tree plantation and so on. The 4,000 villages which are under the eco scheme are now looking for further solutions.

“I am looking for equipment, technology and innovation like small road sweepers which could provide recycling in rural areas.”
