Clean India Pulire 2018

Buzzing from the very first hour of the show, the 15th edition of Clean India Pulire was packed with buyers on all three days. Hospitals, Hotels, Municipal Corporations, Malls, Institutes, Industries, FM companies, IT, Airports, Railways… name any segment, they were there on the floor. This time the difference was evident, as the buyers were making intelligent purchases.

Out of the total exhibitors 28% were new comers with participation from countries including Russia, Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, Australia, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Turkey, UAE and other countries. Also participating were companies in facilities management, uniforms, tissue, aroma and software.

Speaking of innovations, vacuums, scrubbers, sweepers… a lot of machines had included alterations and additional features for robust operations and convenience. Again this year, the battery-operated versions surfaced for newer machines like ride-on sweepers with increased area coverage and width. Other features included low maintenance, compactness and high manoeuvrability.

There were several chemical solution providers besides washroom hygiene, pest management, wall cleaning…

Following a successful entry last time, the State of Thuringia, Germany participated in a special pavilion represented by Flanschenwerk Thal, GBneuhaus, medways, Q-Soft, Temca, Gramme- Revit and Arisu. Leading the companies, Franziska Doll, Director South Asia, Thüringen International/ Thuringia International, shared her experience at the Show, “We had participated in the show last year as well and are here just because of the fantastic experience we have had then. A lot of our partners who came with us last year, have participated again this year.”

Other seminars included Session for Housekeeping organised by the I-Professional Housekeepers’ Association; Session for Procurement Professionals organised by the Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum, both in the hospitality sector.

High-level conferences included Systematic Approach to Infection Control & Hospital Hygiene; and Adding Value in Facility Services in terms of Technology, Best Practices, Supplier& Vendor Management Strategies. The WhatsApp group of over 150 professionals from the hospital industry was inaugurated by J.P. Nair, Managing Director of Virtual Info Systems Pvt. Ltd, the organiser of the expos. The WhatsApp group is highly active and more and more hospitals are joining to get clarity on infection control and processes.

We suggest you also add facilities management service providers, so we can quickly check the feasibility of the latest solutions offered.”

So, related to their syllabus, we have found everything in this exhibition. It has been a great experience and I specially thank all the representatives for treating us so well.”

My responsibility with the Railways is now as a Divisional Environment and Housekeeping Manager. So, I am into the housekeeping of stations and trains for a period of one year. I was trying to learn from other’s experiences but the moment I came here, I was able to get a lot of technological options, technical inputs and a lot of good points and interaction with the industries where they were able to show me their products and processes.”

We have always been associated with your Clean India exhibitions because of the magazine Clean India Journal and I have been participating with my full team from all four locations each year. Every time there is something new to look forward to. This year we have had a very nice company from Coimbatore which is offering everything from chemicals, consumables, semi consumables, to machinery. And all this is manufactured in India. So, these are the things which lead us to try home bound countries as well. Each year it is a new experience & we look forward to this.”
