The Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) recently bagged award for being one of the best sanitised cities in Maharashtra. However, the health department officials seem to have little time to initiate cleanliness measures for the twin-city. Heaps of garbage lying on the road sides are a common sight in the absence of a proper system to clear the mess.
