Cleaning communication goes online

A recent survey report conducted on the behalf of Procter & Gamble among managers of cleaning operations based in the United States highlights that the majority of cleaning operations managers prefer digital communication — email/Skype with vendors, suppliers, and sales people over others such as phone or personal meet. The managers averred that engaging with online vendors or suppliers saved their time and enhanced efficiency.

While In-person training remains the most frequently-cited and the preferred method of receiving training from vendors/suppliers; managers favoured webinars as the second most preferred method of receiving training. Word of mouth, user reviews, and sales reps were found as the top three sources of information that cleaning operations managers consider to be the most important when making decisions about purchasing cleaning products for their business. The majority of the cleaning operations managers prefer their active presence on social and professional networks.
