The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has uploaded the City Sanitation Plan on its website and provided two mail ids for citizens to send in their feedback. However, all the mails are on taxes. The citizens have apparently not bothered to raise any question on neither the cleanliness nor hygiene aspects of the city due to ignorance or sheer indifference. The civic body is planning to conduct a meeting of stakeholders soon. The stakeholders would involve all those involved in the sanitation of the city like NGOs, labour unions, citizens, senior citizens, members of Gujarat Pollution Control Board, slum dwellers, academic institutions etc.
