Cleanliness to be included in school syllabus

Deputy Chief Minister and Delhi’s Education Minister, Manish Sisodia announced that the Delhi government will be developing a curriculum to instil habits of cleanliness and hygiene among school students. The government has taken suggestions from teachers and principals of government as well as private schools to prepare the cleanliness curriculum

“In other countries, students are responsible for mopping their classes, dusting the desks and watering plants. We want that students should develop these habits and take responsibility of cleanliness in schools. The cleanliness curriculum will be activity based and there will not be a separate period for it,” said Sisodia.
