Cleanliness Drive

The Indonesian Government has called on its municipal and regency administrations to carry out cleanliness drive and tightly control city garbage problem and implement waste management. The authorities are obliged to provide facilities to control waste and garbage dumping activities. Households, regional governments and private sectors in the region must heed to cleanliness drive by law no.18/2008. There are punishments and sanctions for failure in upholding the law.
