Coimbatore Offers a Complete Ecosystem to Manufacture: Kärcher India

Leading global cleaning equipment manufacturer, Kärcher, has deepened its manufacturing presence in India through its Coimbatore facilities. Now operating as KTI – Kärcher Technology India, Prashanth Srirangam, Senior Director, shares why Coimbatore is ideal for innovation, localisation and supply chain efficiency, making it a cornerstone in Kärcher’s global manufacturing footprint.

What has been Kärcher’s experience in manufacturing in Coimbatore and why did the company choose this city?

A. As we all well know, Coimbatore is a strong manufacturing hub in South India. The city offers a complete ecosystem, and skilled workforce, for businesses to thrive — all of which match Kärcher’s requirements. Additionally, local manufacturing supports the government’s initiative of ‘Make in India’ and the ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission, inspires companies like Kärcher to contribute meaningfully to the country’s drive for cleanliness and sustainability. In line with this, we opened a branch office in Coimbatore this year, staffed with professional sales and service teams to further strengthen our customer support.
