Conference for house maids

In a CSR initiative, Will India Change Foundation along with Gala Freudenberg Pvt Ltd organized a conference for house maids called Gruhkaam Sahayak. Over 140 maids from Dahisar, Borivali and Kandivali areas attended this session. O P Tiwari, Senior Honarable Deputy Controller, Sulabh International was the guest speaker for the session along with Dr Kalpana Chaudhari, who was present for the health advisory session.

The one day conference included expert advisory panel sessions, live practical workshop on house cleaning and mopping, guiding session on various cleaning tools that will help the maid, audio video session on practical tips and case study, health session to give information on various physical attributions and Q&A series. Will India Change Foundation wants to conduct more such conferences in other parts of Mumbai as they can ready a case study of maids working condition and its solutions. This report can be used by other social organization to understand the working conditions of maid and its challenges.
