Day 1, January 18, 2017 glimpses

The first day of the exhibition witnessed trade visitors and buyers walking in from all parts of India and abroad. Barry Young, Fellowes, France, said, “We have been studying the Indian market and were looking at a place to make an opening. Last time, when we attended Clean India Show we knew this was the show to make a beginning. I am here and will be here all the three days looking for the right partner.

Nitin Nagrale, Director-Materials, Chedi Hotel, said, “We have identified a couple of products of washroom hygiene and cleaning chemicals. We will be finalising the contract shortly. Hailing the Buyer-seller meet organised during the Hospitality Connect, he said that such meets enable to network with the suppliers and get in depth information about the products.”

” Clean India Technology Week gives an opportunity to meet with all the solution providers under one roof. There are many we have not been in contact, we have been able to revive their business potential. This is a nicely organised show. We were looking for some machines and chemicals and we are likely to enter into some tie-ups. We found some new machines like the vacuum with less sound decibels. ”

Our prime requirement is adopting latest equipment and I am more than happy to see all kinds of cleaning equipment under one roof. I must say, the Show has been organized and managed beautifully.

 

 

 HIGHTLIGHT OF CLEAN INDIA CONFERENCE

Never before has such a gathering ever been organised at this scale where so many municipal commissioners and CSR heads sat together to discuss on city cleaning, said Dr B Janardhan Reddy, who anchored the round table discussion.

“I thank Clean India Journal for organising this discussion and such a good exhibition. We were able to see all the equipment and solutions required by the municipal corporations,” he said.

In a heated and interesting debate, “Pricy Pests”, organised during the Hospitality Connect saw the Pest and Hospitality industry for the first time sharing their viewpoints, the shortcomings and solutions for handling pest in the hotels.
