Delhiites do it again

Let’s Do It Delhi is a citizens initiative to keep Delhi clean ahead of Commonwealth Games. The volunteer collects together every weekend at the different locations, picking up dead leaves, papers, plastic or cigarette butts. Enthusiastic volunteers turn up at seven in the morning to get going with the clean-up mission.

The campaign takes inspiration from the small Baltic country of Estonia where 50,000 volunteers came together on May 3, 2008, and lifted about 10,000 tonne garbage in five hours.
