Diversey launches cost-effective floor care equipment

Diversey, a Sealed Air company, launched a range of Taski floor care equipment to meet the requirement of high traffic and extreme climatic conditions of the Asian market. The new line consisting of scrubber driers, single-disc machines, wet/dry vacuums and carpet care solutions have design and components to meet specific needs of various sectors, including building care, retail, hospitality, industrial and healthcare.

Addressing the press conference in Mumbai, Himanshu Jain, Vice President, Indian Sub-continent, Sealed Air, said, “The new range of Taski machines, designed especially for the Asian market, is an effort to present winning solutions combined with technology, quality, reliability and service to our customers.”

Besides the five new machines introduced in floor care, Diversey has also launched smart dosing and dilution control systems. Speaking on the award winning Divermite system, Jon Altenberg, Senior Director-Global Building Care Portfolio, Diversey, said, “The combination of concentrated product formulation along with accurate dosing in a single system enables controlled dosing, resulting in controlling predictable costs. Besides, use of reusable bottles offers significant savings in packaging, thus providing excellent cost in use.”

Unique shaped squeegee for better performance

Setting new benchmarks in the squeegee technology, the newly launched Taski machines have been equipped with patented V-shape and W-shape squeegee systems. Constructed with durable polyurethane blades, which are long lasting, the squeegee uses an effective 3-castor wheel concept and can also pick up bigger pieces of dirt via cut-outs in the inner squeegee blade. The squeegees follow a floor’s contours for perfect drying results, enabling 99% water pick-up.

Cost/water saving IntelliFlow system

The patented Taski IntelliFlow system introduced in the new range of cleaning equipment, delivers the ideal amount of cleaning solution and water onto floors, precisely adjusted to the speed of the machine. As the machine slows, the system adjusts the amount of solution used in real time, resulting in up to 50% reduction in water consumption. This does away with uneven delivery of solutions as the machine changes speed, creation of puddles, wastage of solution and time in refilling the tank.

Direct suction line

Another innovative component introduced in the Taski range is the  direct suction line, which significantly reduces blockages. Over 30% of technician calls for scrubber driers are caused by blockages. The direct suction line drastically lowers the likelihood of blockages, with bigger pieces of dirt redirected to the tank’s dirt sieve. This enables longer machine uptime and decreases need for time consuming and expensive services and repairs.
