Facebook adds 90k sq ft office space in Mumbai

Additional area picked up at higher lease rate

Facebook has picked up 90,000 sq ft office space at business tower One BKC in Mumbai’s enterprise district Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) by way of renewal and new lease agreements with Blackstone Group. The office space is being expanded whereas the corporation is planning a cautious return-to-offices for its workers. Several massive firms are increasing office areas to make social distancing changes.

Facebook, which has over 330 million customers in India, had initially leased over 20,000 sq ft in this tower in 2015 to arrange its company office. Interestingly, Facebook has renewed its current agreements and leased new space at over Rs 320 per sq ft after an earlier lease of around Rs 275 per sq ft.

This is one among Facebook’s places of work in India and its FB Creator Studio is housed right here. FB Creator Studio is the spine of all enterprise monetisation at Facebook. The prime administration, operations and ideation workforce sits at this office in One BKC in Mumbai.
