Food safety solutions

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has listed the challenges it faces to improve food safety in India, which include licensing, inter-state movement, recall of contaminated products, milk hygiene and nutrition. At a two-day summit organised by CII, officials from Food and Agriculture Oraganisation (FAO), Ministry of Food Processing Industries and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare discussed systems that can be easily implemented, monitored and regulated to ensure safety and hygiene at all levels.
