Forum Pulire

The second edition of Forum Pulire – March 26-27 in Milan – discussed the most topical issues in the world of professional cleaning and integrated services. The event brought together over 340 delegates from all over Italy. Companies and facility management services recorded the largest presence, 37% of those present. The manufacturers were 23%, distributors 17%, associations and representatives of end users 15% and the worlds of communication and counselling 8%.

The two day seminars focused on areas like the drivers of choice in the allocation of services of cleaning and hygiene; the legality perceived among the Italian population and among operators in the sector and elements for the development of a common strategy to give the cleaning sector the attention it deserves.

The needs for rationalization and innovation, development and rule of law were highlighted and reaffirmed the common cry against the public procurement with the lowest financial offer. The focus was to promote the respect for the rule of the law at all levels, from the allocation of contracts to the controls on the phases of execution, to the rules on the job. Forum Pulire highlighted the need for greater communication between the world of companies and institutions, to reverse the trend of recent years of crisis.

The manufacturers pointed out that the exports have increased, confirming a scenario with many opportunities. Focus was also on the supply chain and the distribution channel, an essential link between manufacturers and end users. The dealers are also victims of late payments, especially by the public administration, a problem faced by the entire sector.

“Forum Pulire was reconfirmed as the meeting point for excellence among all the players in this sector. It was an opportunity to qualify everyone’s expectations and identify a line of discussion for the development of the entire market,” said Toni D’Andrea, CEO Afidamp Services, the organizer of the Forum.
