The SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack has launched mechanised cleaning and sanitation system across all its facilities. The new system entails round-the-clock sanitation of the wards and corridors. More than 300 sweepers have been engaged in sanitation work. Specialised medical vacuum cleaners, heavy scrubbers and compressor machines have been deployed to keep the hospital structures clean and sanitised. Vacuum cleaners would be used to clean the wards while heavy duty scrubbers would wipe the corridors and passageways. Compressor machines would clean the toilets, lavatories and bathrooms.
