India Hoga Clean

A public awareness campaign on cleanliness titled ‘India Hoga Clean’ has been initiated by Network18 which focuses on Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Bengaluru in its first phase. The work done by different activist groups in these cities to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in different localities is being aired on CNBC-TV18 and CNN- News18.

The campaign has a micro-website committed to cleanliness, where people can take a pledge to support the cause and share inspiring stories who are working in this area. Spread over a period of three months, the network will also organize cleanliness drives involving NGOs and schools.

The network will use the power of its reach to amplify the message of ‘pro-active hygiene and cleanliness’ which has been a principal agenda for not just the government but has also been given a spotlight by critical media like films, social media and advertising.
