Indian Cleaning Industry pays tributes

to

Ajeet Lalwani TSM India

On 28th January, 2013 he met with a cruel road accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

My association with Ajeet Lalwani dates back to 1990’s when he was a Branch Manager for a renowned cleaning company and I was one of its dealers for Mumbai. He always came across to me as a very hard-working person. He was an able marketing professional, very energetic and enthusiastic. He surmounted various obstacles to reach the position of Country Head of a reputed Italian Company.

I always respected him for his work and the efforts that he used to put in turning adversities into opportunities. In the course of these 20-odd years he worked for various cleaning companies, our relationship was always intact. The last I met him was at the Clean India Show at Bangalore in December last year and it so happened that we also flew back together.

I am yet to come to terms with the fact that he is no more with us. It is an irreparable loss to the cleaning industry. I extend my sympathy to the bereaved family.

Joaquim Cardozo, Managing Director, Innovative Cleaning Systems Pvt Ltd

Ajeet and myself were friends since 1991. We worked together for a long time. He was my colleague in Roots Multiclean Ltd for a short period of time. We travelled together to many parts of our country to promote our products. I remember him as a hardcore sales man. He had been very supportive and being with him helped me a great deal. I met him last at the Bangalore Clean India Show. For me, his sudden death is a shock and a great loss. For the cleaning industry too, his demise is a great loss.

Venu Madhavan, Vice President – Sales, Roots Multiclean Ltd

Ajeet Lalwani was one of the most dynamic marketing professionals in the cleaning industry. With his passing away, one era is over. He was a great friend. Being positive and humility were his strengths.

Sunil Subberwal, Business Head – North India, Del Star Pvt Ltd

I was shocked to hear about the sudden and sad demise of our beloved Ajeet Lalwani. His contribution to the cleaning industry would be remembered for a long time.

Ajeet was in Delstar with me since 1992. Besides being friends for over 20 years, we also shared a professional relationship working together at Del Star and then at Manmachine for Karcher business. His energy and knowledge about the cleaning industry were par excellence and would be remembered for years to come. He had a positive approach and a charisma which attracted people. Ajeet was undoubtedly one of the strongest pillars of the Indian cleaning industry. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.

Sunil Kapoor, National Sales Manager, Karcher India

We are yet to come to terms with the grave loss, which is more personal than professional. We have been closely associated with Ajeet since the launch of Clean India Journal. A dynamic and vibrant person, he was ever-smiling even in adversities. His undying commitment to work and vision to achieve new goals was a source of inspiration to one and all associated with him. The last Clean India Show in Bangalore where we last saw Ajeet in action will always remain in our memories.
