The JCB Clean Earth awards for excellence in management of solid waste were recently announced in Hyderabad. The awards were spread across three categories of ‘company’, ‘municipal body’ and ‘NGO’. The winners across the three categories were A2Z Infrastructure, Tenali Municipality and Exnora Green Pammal, Chennai, respectively.
The JCB awards, given in honour of followers of best practices in the field of MSW for private and government organisations, were organised by CII Task Force on MSW and APTDC. JCB are manufacturers of construction equipment and also offers a host of attachments tailor made for MSW applications
