Karcher India has expanded operations in Kerala with the setting up of a full-fledged office in Kochi. The 10th branch office of Karcher India, will serve the growing market of Kerala both in the professional as well as home & garden range. Speaking to Clean India Journal, Managing Director Ruediger Schroeder, said, “The professional range will cater to the auto segment;commercial spaces such as malls, shopping complex, multiplex and retail;government institutions, defence establishments; and food &pharma industries. The home and garden product line will continue to get promoted through our distributors and dealers across the State.”
The new office will stock demo machines, fast moving machines and spare parts. Three service engineers have already been extensively trained to serve Karcher’s existing customers. “In due course of time, we are planning to add more as and when required.”
Being a genuine market, Schroeder stated that as many people from Kerala have worked abroad and have seen cleaning equipment used in developed countries, they are aware of the specific product solutions. “Hence, we look forward to have a decent market share from Kerala. We see a good demand for cold and hot pressure washers, industrial vacuums, floor care products and also automatic car wash systems.”
Heading the operations in Kerala, Sreejith Chandran, National Sales Manager,will be focussing on effective and timely after sales service and customer relationship management.
