In the last three editions, the expo has not only grown but the variety and quality of products and unique solutions displayed at the last show was one-of-its-kind. The entry of tunnel washers, Virtual Reality shows, MOP equipment, stack washer-dryers, wet-cleaning, coin laundry, Finishing System, software, and more has made Laundrex India the most sought-after expo in the laundry, dry cleaning and textile care segment. The focus this time was also to make the entire experience safe to the user and the environment. Some of the highlights of the products on display included the ability to adjust key parameters like time, water level, detergent dosing, and temperature, drum speed, reversing and cooling down. It also featured tailored solutions for the workwear hygiene industry.
The growing service segment saw many young entrepreneurs and start-ups at the show sourcing machines and chemicals. The laundry market in India has expanded and the show saw visitors from sectors including healthcare, hospitality, transport, railways and educational institutions demand cost-effective, water-efficient, energy-efficient and quality laundry systems.
Laundry professionals for the first time got to see a tunnel laundry system showcased by United Machines India Pvt. Ltd at Laundrex India. The computerized industrial laundry machines are designed to process large volumes of linens (type and soil loading) continuously with a limited amount of labour and a reduced amount of water.
Girbau introduced a virtual reality engine that extends the power of 3D max to create immersive and interactive architectural visualisations. It was showcased by ADD Laundry Concepts, representative of GIRBAU in India, for the first time in Indian Laundry Industry at the expo.
Energised by the response at Laundrex 2018; ADD Laundry Concepts will make the experience of virtual laundry walk-through available to clients and is working with GIRBAU Team to add more features to enhance the experience.
The expert laundry solutions with advanced forms of washers, lagoon efficient dosing system, tumblers and dryers displayed effortless and powerful cleaning while maintaining a low operation cost. Along with tunnel laundry, there was a wide range of technology on display. There was an intuitive and intelligent control panel. Various technologies for the drums such as full suspension drum, reverse system of the drum helped to effectively reduce vibration during washing.
LaundrexNet and Texcare India Forum presented a one-day conference on Laundry, Dry Cleaning and Textile Care. The conference was inaugurated by Ruth Lorenz, VP-Technology, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH; John Hacker, Director of Sales-Asia Pacific, Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH, JP Nair, MD-Virtual Info Systems & Director-Laundry & Dry-Cleaning Association of India (LDAI) and Akash Dharamsey, Founder-Director, LDAI.
