“We have set a few guidelines which will be further evolved over a period of time,” Shiv Shankar informed Laundrex Times. Inviting more members to join the association, the existing team have begun the process of registration to make HLDA a formal body.
Speaking on the need for an association, Shiv Shankar said, “The very purpose of coming together on common platform and forming the HLDA was to be unite the laundry fraternity. We can then unitedly approach the authorities and collectively resolve certain industry issues. Couple of challenges common to the service providers today are skilled resources, SOP, high rate of GST, and others.”
In the following months the HLDA will hold further meetings and hope to expand the membership. “We will be focused with the road map and will address issues with milestones. We are in the process of designing a blue print and a road map. We have service providers from the industry as veterans who will be also supporting the initiative.
