Lessons through song

Gramalaya, an NGO is working on a variety of water and sanitation projects across the state of Tamil Nadu. One of their projects – is to teach songs on the importance of safe water and good hygiene practices to children in the rural areas. Songs are generally based on simple actions like washing hands with soap, using a toilet instead of defecating in the open, proper food preparation and storage or keeping the rivers, lakes and streams clean.
