MCD’s new garbage drive

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has purchased white and green dustbins for every household at a cost of 50 crores, as part of the door-to-door garbage segregation drive. MCD has already begun the project in Rohini & Civil lines areas and is planning to extend it to other zones by the year end. At least 25% of the waste would find its way to the landfill sites, once implemented.
