The third waterworks recently inaugurated in Rohtak, Haryana, will provide 135lt per capita per day drinking water. This waterworks is stated to be the second such facility in the country after Sonia Vihar in New Delhi. The huge allocation of funds by the National Capital Region Board and the State Government would help in overcoming the basic sanitation services and augmentation of water supply in the NCR region falling in Haryana.
