NACEN outsource housekeeping

The National Academy of Customs Excise and Narcotics (NACEN) has put out a tender for housekeeping of its 7100 sqft office premises. Presently manual workers from Government trade post are employed. The tender is issued on persqft basis with the lowest quoted tender being chosen. Speaking to Clean India Journal, Shekhar Anand, administration, said, “Since the area required to be maintained is small, a vacuum cleaner is the only equipment provided. The cleaning chemicals and other utilities are expected to be brought by the contractor. The premises have to maintain from 9:30am to 5pm. The tender is for one year and can be extended if the results are encouraging.”
