NDMC launched cleanliness drive

NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council) recently launched a 15-day long massive cleanliness drive in Delhi, with special emphasis on the heritage, tourism and religious sites.

Started on December 1, the drive focuses on cleanliness, sweeping, sanitation along with picking the debris, garbage and horticulture waste produce apart from removing the unauthorized encroachment in the areas under its jurisdiction.   

NDMC will do mechanized sweeping around these areas during night on a daily basis and movable dust bins will complement the drive. In addition, the council will also ensure proper functioning of the street light in NDMC area.
