Nepa Ltd, newsprint production unit based in Nepa nagar Madhya Pradesh is planning to outsource Statutory Cleaning of Boiler. The cleaning of a boiler generally takes eight to 10 days, as in most cases it is done manually. According to official sources, Nepa is planning to go for mechanised cleaning shortly.
The Public Sector undertaking, Nepa is bracing its annual inspection by the boiler inspector soon. General cleaning of boiler includes cleaning of steam and mud drum internals, external cleaning of boiler and connected passages, platforms, coal bunker top, stairs and floors.
