Mumbai based Glosson Surface Solutions is entering the floor polish and maintenance industry, to provide different solutions for marble, granite and terrazzo floors. It will cater to the growing needs and solutions to do larger floor areas in a relatively short time. The company has a unit at Worli in Mumbai and caters to the polish needs of most Italian and Indian marble dealers in Mumbai.
Sadanand Shinde, the Managing Director of Glosson feels that most of the marble and granite floors are not maintained properly. Contractor often just buff the floors or crystallize it. Glosson has introduced new polishing equipment which uses the modern Planetary System and diamond abrasives which enable the grinding to be without waves. The machine works at a speed polishing approx 2000sqft in three days in a 12 hour shift with just three workers Glosson will have a team of trained, dedicated and experienced workmen who will be providing solutions and services under able supervision.
The work will include filling of cracks and grouts, removing scratches and providing a water effect shine on the floors. Glosson also bring in Concrete Polishing systems to achieve a mirror finish on concrete, terrazo and UPS floorings. The company aims to provide floor polish and finishes for over a million square feet in the first year and over time 5 million sqft by the end of 2012.
Glosson are planning to expand in repolishing walls, stairs & columns of marble and shortly will be introducing versatile wall polishing units.
