Noida plans for ‘toilets for all’ policy in 2016

Noida authorities have planned a new policy to provide ‘toilets for all’ facility in the city, which will require to construct over 40,000 new toilets in Noida and Greater Noida area. The urban areas are expected to get new toilets by March, 2016 after which the Authority will focus on rural areas. The objective of this drive by the city administration is to make Noida and Greater Noida free from open defecation. The drive will also rope in people from both urban and rural areas under its jurisdiction to spread awareness about the drive.
