The Kerala police will take stringent action against those who dispose of garbage in public places. As part of the ‘Operation Sweep’ launched by Kerala Police in November, Inspector General of Police (Thrissur Range) has directed City Police Commissioner to take stern action against those who throw garbage in the open.
