The Salem Corporation Commissioner has sprung a surprise by overhauling the entire sanitary wing of the civic body’s health department. He transferred a majority of low and middle level workers and officers, who have stayed-put in one ward or zone close to a decade. The city has been facing problem of garbage mounds, chocking drainages and menacing mosquitoes.
