Plastic Free

Noticing the ill effects of plastic on the flora and fauna of the region, 50 students from various colleges in Mangalore distributed cloth bags titled “Coastal Be Green” among shopkeepers and public at various public places. The goal is to make the coastal belt plastic free and use sturdy cloth bags instead. Plans are on to distribute one lakh bags in five months.
