PRAJ to make feedstock, ethanol from MSW

India will soon have feedstock made out of MSW. Besides, the second generation cellulosic ethanol is also going to be prepared commercially from the agro waste. The private sector Praj Industries, providers for integrated solution for sugar mills and breweries, is currently running a pilot plant in Pune with a capacity to process two tons of MSW and other waste a day. The company is setting up a Rs. 70 crore mega-manufacturing facility with a capacity of 20,000 to 30,000 litres per day.
