Project Arogya

Costal Gujarat Power Ltd, a subsidiary of Tata Power has installed mobile toilets at Tragadi Bunder under the ‘Project Arogya’ programme to provide hygienic and clean sanitation to its inhabitants and engage its fisherman community. The company has sensitized fishermen about these health and hygiene-related issues. At present there are three mobile units, with each unit having a total of 21 toilets and 15 bathroom blocks. The toilets are to be maintained by the community so that they are also involved in the whole process.
