Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP) has launched an awareness drive in Kozhikode to bring awareness among local bodies and public on the importance of personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness. KSSP is using different art forms, including puppet shows to talk about mosquito-borne diseases and other lifestyle diseases. Selected volunteers of the Parishad, panchayat health workers, Asha workers, members of Kudumbasree and Ayalkootam would visit every household in the district and give demonstrations on the steps to be taken to prevent an epidemic.
