Recycled water for Delhi

In a major development, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has commissioned a 23 million litres per day water recycling plant at Kapashera. The recycled and treated water will be used in hotels and guest houses around the international airport. The treated effluent is likely to be sold at `7 per klt for non-potable purposes.

A recycling and treatment plant having the capacity of 10 million liters per day will soon come up at Okhla STP. The treated water of Okhla plant would be used for cleaning/washing the vehicles and for the real estate/construction industry too.
