Reinstating long-awaited face-to-face business meetings and record purchasing

The Clean India Technology Week 2022, a three-day reunion of the cleaning, waste and laundry professionals, reinstated the confidence of doing business offline, and experienced intensive & informed buying, besides an increased demand for innovative products & automation.

Over 8,000 visitors, including quality trade visitors, delegates, expert speakers, serious buyers from over 60 industry segments hailing from 26 States visited the four Shows – 18th edition of the Clean India Show and 6th edtion of Waste Technology India Expo, Laundrex India and Auto Care Expo (previously Car Care).

About 62% of the visitors were from North India, 38% from West & South and other areas. In short, right from Kashmir to Meghalaya to Jharkhand to Goa to Chennai and Kerala – the entire stretch across India had made their way to the Expos. The exhibitors were elated to meet informed buyers who walked in from tier-II cities of the northern region.

Among the leading segments that visited the expos included automobile and auto ancilliary, cement, oil, petrochemicals, engineering, chemicals, power, food processing, financial institutions, healthcare, hospitality, IT, logistics, malls & multiplexes, real estate, construction & infrastructure, textile, educational institutions, FM service providers, railways, airports, retail & commercial laundry service providers, waste recyclers, waste management companies, and auto care service providers.

Amid this diverse professionals, about one per cent were the start-ups, students pursuing facility management, formulation manufacturers, international trade visitors, and others.

The top reasons for being part of the show included sourcing innovative and sustainable solutions; gathering information on new products & solutions; being part of the knowledge sharing sessions; and meeting new suppliers in the market.

Year on year, the Shows have been adding newer segments among the exhibitors and this time on facility management service providers, pest management solution providers, environmental solution providers (air), automated waste sorting solutions, and software solution providers also exhibited.
